Heroes Of Henderson County Fundraising Event

September 17th, 2020 by

A day to celebrate First Responders. Join us for free food door prizes, raffle tickets, and live music from Mile High Band from Maggie Valley. All proceeds donated will go to the family of wounded and fallen First Responders of Henderson County.

Due to COVID-19, we will be following all the recommended guidelines. The event will be held outside of the dealership. We require everyone to wear a mask and to maintain at least 6 feet of separation as much as possible. All food will be prepare, packaged separately, and hand out individually by an AutoStar Employee or food vendor.

Giving a special appreciation to the First Responders of Henderson County we want to highlight both the families of Deputy Ryan Hendrix and Sgt. Jordan Warren.

Ryan responded to a call assisting a family in need. Deputy Hendrix was fired upon and fatally wounded. In passing Ryan continues to serve others as he was also an organ donor. Ryan leaves behind his two children 9 and 6 and his fiancée.

Sgt. Jordan Warren and his family were informed in recent days that their 3-year-old son, Jax, has been diagnosed with a Glioma spinal tumor. This aggressive form of cancer is causing Jax to have an issue with motor-sensory functions in his lower extremities and will need treatment, which includes surgery. This illness came on abruptly and was very unexpected.

If anyone would like to donate before the event or wishes to donate and not attend please follow the links listed above. Or contact AutoStar of Hendersonville’s Sales Manager Rodney Melton at
